Bullying in American Schools: Suggested Solution

Every day it has become a common thing to hear about a child dealing with being bullied. In some cases, the child has been beat, picked on constantly, has told the school officials about the problems and yet they do nothing to help the child. These children suffer daily and this affects them on so many levels where their performance suffers and in some worse cases, the child even contemplates or actually commits suicide.
A solution to consider is to send the accused bullies home to their parents permanently. Parents like to claim that they don't know that their child has been bullying others but parents know their children and how they have raised that child. They don't want to face the truth but how about this... why not have them to home school their child permanently to ensure that others do not have to deal with the rage and anger that this child is carrying around.
When parents realize that at least one of them will have to give up their career to raise that child then they will take action to ensure that the child no longer bullies anyone. A parent receives a call from a school administrator that their child has been bullying some other child for one reason or another. The parent has a "word" with the child then suddenly the problem has been "dealt" with and the school officials feel as if they have played their part in protecting the bullied child. This is not the case. There is such a thing as retaliation. The bully bides his time while everything seems to cool down. The bullied child has a false sense of safety during this time but the bully is gathering his forces and planning revenge. If a child is this evil then he or she definitely needs to be in counseling or removed from his home because something going on behind the scenes is causing this child to come to school and want to hurt and abuse others.
The goal here is not to make the child out to be a monster but to figure out what is driving the devious behavior. Send the child home to his or her parents and let them deal with the mental health of their child. It is not fair or safe to have other children to be exposed to such hatred and anger for no apparent reason.
This is not the only solution but one that will remove the bully from his or her victims. Parents must be held accountable for their children's actions. It's as simple as that. There may be some that feel that this too harsh a solution but what else is there to do because bullies cannot be monitored throughout the school day because bullying happens everywhere in the school especially when adults are too busy to notice. This interrupts the teaching and learning process. Changes need to go into effect so that more innocent children take the route of suicide because he or she felt that it was the only way to escape
a bully.
